Need a bigger waterfall

Last Saturday went to FRIM with classmates, intially thought there’s a bigger waterfall in FRIM but I think I might have remembered wrongly O_o

Anyway, the reason why I wanted to look for a big waterfall is because Han taught me a neat trick to take waterfalls!

Instead of the usual looking waterfall, by making the frames per second higher (slower shutter speed) the camera can create this flowy effect on the water! I sound like a kid playing with a new toy wtf.

Anyway, the waterfall at FRIM was a bit too small and I barely had a good footing to stand on to take this pic. In order to take good pics like this u’ll need a steady hand or at least a firm platform to stand on, i had neither so I had to spam-take from this angle until I got this kinda-maybe-decent picture, the picture was just to test the technique don’t judge me wtf =_=

I’m going to Ulu Yam this Saturday RAWR must own da wotaafall there RAWRRRRR. Should I bring a tripod? =.=

On a more random note, a few weeks back, we (gloria+chu+me) volunteered at the MalaysianCare’s 30th anniversary and we were assigned to organize some goodie bags. So basically inside an average goodie bag there was a magazine, some packet drinks, tupperware, some misc stuff and also a teddy bear!

So as I was organizing the bags, I came across a bag with two teddies in it! Before u go “poor yong long lost his mind at last”, I noticed one of the teddies were missing an arm! The people who prepared the goodie bags actually put the teddy with a missing arm as a ‘bonus’ for the goodie bag since it lost its arm and I guess is not cute or lovable anymore =(

So being all heroic n shit I stole the pirate-ty teddy (I didn’t really steal cause we were qualified to get a goodie bag wtf) and I brought it home! And now, pirate-ty teddy lives in my kancil and whoever sits in my car gets to see him! weeeee wtf. And he is the chief security officer of my car wtf.

Pirate-ty teddy: Aarrrghhh fasten yer seatbelts mateysss it’s going to be a rough rideeee arghhhh

It’s only been 4 days of internship and I already lost my mind wtf.

Broga Hill Part I

okokok bro is not beside me i must blog a damn quick wan before it’s too late! RAWR

So around last week Tueday night, Han came out of no where and said want to go Broga Hill somewhere in Semenyih and near University of Nottingham. Since the view is extra nice at sunrise/sunset so we decided to try our luck with sunrise first. We departed from Puchong around 6am and I tried to push Steven (my kancil) to his limits by going at 80 mph average throughout the trip!

Unfortunately we couldn’t make it in time for the sunrise, we reached there at 7 something and the hike up to the top was….. how to say…. Too much for me Y_Y

I kid u not, FRIM wasn’t very tiring for me, but Broga……… sad to say I feel like an old man climbing that hill, I stopped like 5 to 6 times just to catch my breath. It’s either I have breath and my leg hurts or my leg doesn’t hurt but I have no breath. By the time we reach the time also like close to 8 I think =_=

I was so tired I couldn’t even think clearly to take photos, I end up simply taking some photos and spent 99% of the time catching my breath wth. This is actually the first time I’m really really using a big camera (big black one wtf wat do u call them?), and with the help from Han I was able to learn some basic photo-taking skillz wtf.

And in a weird twist of fate, we actually met our secondary school mandarin class teacher on our way to the top of the hill! We only met four people throughout the whole trip and one of them is actually someone we know! What are the odds!

Right before we left, we saw this very huge beetle that landed on a dead tree trunk close to us.

After seeing the beetle didn’t move and was lying still on the trunk, I went all national-geographic on the poor bug and started to stalk it.

And I started to change angle and went closer, at the same time spam-taking photos along the way just in case it flies away

And then I got closer..

And closer…….

Then snap! This is the closest I manage to get to the bug before it flew away and scared the shit out of me wtf coz it made those freaky-huge-bug-buzzing sound wtf. Look at the nice reflections on its wings! I was so happy with the picture I thanked the anonymous bug and left some biscuit crumble before I left for home wtf.

It’s hard to describe that feeling of actually stalking a living creature around, I was not only nervous because it might just fly away before I can get a decent pic, I was nervous also because I never done anything like that before! It’s so spontaneous and random and I absolutely love that kind of feeling!

We’re going to climb Broga again this coming Friday and we will try to get on top of the hill before sunrise! Hope we’ll make it this time, if not I guess we’ll have to try the third time :D

Internship!

This post is extremely overdue; I just don’t have the mood to blog over the holidays! I think I have blogger’s constipation, I feel like blogging but I can’t just blog! It’s either I’m stuck thinking what should I blog about first or I’m busy looking over my shoulders worrying if my bro will see that I have a blog wtf. I think I’ll just blog with pictures in the next few entries, for now I shall just announce that I am finally starting my internship tomorrow!

We’re going to MalaysianCare HQ in Bandar Tasik Selatan first thing in the morning for training! I have no idea what training, but the word training just sounds so cool wtf. I’ll be interning with Chu and Gloria, but even though we’re interning together I’ll be placed in the male centre while they will be placed in the female’s, yeah what do you expect wtf =_=

Hope I don’t embarrass myself so soon. Kthxbye

Falling Slowly

Haven’t been updating for a long time now, main reason being my second brother came back from UK ever since I came back from Penang. With him sitting  right beside me, I really don’t feel like writing anything =_= I’m only updating now cause he went to Singapore with his friends.

Life seems to be going back to its usual gloomy state, I have data collection to work on, internship to worry about, due dates to ‘look forward’ to.. worst of all, I feel like i’m back in that familiar place I’ve been one year ago, this time with a different person; that familiar voice telling me to stop chasing after rainbows…

I’ve been writing this entry for almost an hour now because I kept writing and deleting, not knowing what is the right things to say, in the end, this is a very pathetic attempt to hint that person about what I am thinking…
